Corporate Chief Scientist, ELT Group

Daniela Pistoia received her degree in Electronic Engineering in Rome, a diploma for Executive Management at Bocconi University in Milan and an executive master in Artificial Intelligence at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston.

Since 1988, she has worked as System Engineer for Alenia Marconi Systems – Missile Systems Division. She has been Director of System Studies and Advanced Concepts in the Seeker Division of MBDA Missile Systems.

Since 2003, she has joined ELTGroup. As VP for Research and Advanced Systems, she managed the creation and development of the Company Product Portfolio supporting Electromagnetic and Cyber Operations.

Since Jan. 2013, she is SVP – Corporate Chief Scientist, defining, leading and promoting the technology roadmaps of ELTGroup, with a staff of executives with both engineering and military background.

She is also member of the Technical Board of Women4Cyber Italy and promotes the presence of women in the field of Cyber, Artificial Intelligence and STEM disciplines.
