EVP & CEO, Prysmian Transmission

Raul Gil assumed the role of CEO for LATAM in January 1st 2024. He holds a Master degree in Electronic Engineering from UPC (Barcelona , 1991), complemented by an MBA from ESADE and an AMP from Harvard Business School.

His journey with Prysmian began in Spain in 1997 when he joined as Sales Manager, focusing on Telecom Power Utilities Systems. Over the years, he ascended to the position of Aerial Cables Business Director in 2004, relocating to Milan in 2010 to serve as the Sales Director of the submarine Business Unit.

In 2014, he was appointed as COO of Prysmian Powerlink, specializing in the manufacturing and installation of submarine and high-voltage terrestrial cables. Prior to his current role, Raul Gil served as the CEO of Prysmian Brazil from 2020 until December 2023
