L\u2019intento \u00e8 fornire al Paese 30 MWh di elettricit\u00e0, sufficienti ad alimentare tra le 1.500 e le 3.000 abitazioni. Tutto ci\u00f2 dal 2030. Un accordo che, evidenzia il CEO di Transition Labs, Kjartan \u00d3lafsson, segna \u201cuno step basilare nel percorso di Space Solar verso un\u2019implementazione su larga scala\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>L\u2019energia solare nello Spazio non \u00e8 un\u2019utopia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il&nbsp;<strong>solare spaziale<\/strong>&nbsp;pu\u00f2 offrire benefici senza precedenti, facendo leva su&nbsp;<strong>costi energetici competitivi<\/strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>disponibilit\u00e0 h24 (a<\/strong>&nbsp;36.000 km di altezza la&nbsp;<strong>luce solare&nbsp;<\/strong>\u00e8 sempre disponibile). Da qui il progetto di un sistema tanto semplice nel concetto quanto complesso nell\u2019esecuzione: una&nbsp;<strong>centrale solare orbitale&nbsp;<\/strong>in grado di catturare la lice per convertirla in onde radio a una frequenza specifica. Tali onde vengono poi inviate a una stazione sulla&nbsp;<strong>Terra<\/strong>, per poi essere riconvertite in elettricit\u00e0 fruibile dalla rete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c8 questo, in estrema sintesi, il risultato che l\u2019azienda britannica&nbsp;<strong>Space Solar<\/strong>&nbsp;che (come&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacesolar.co.uk\/space-solar-and-transition-labs-to-deliver-space-based-solar-power-to-iceland-by-2030\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">riporta un comunicato<\/a>&nbsp;sul suo portale) ha stretto una partnership con<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/orkuveitan.is\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reykjavik<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/orkuveitan.is\/en\/\">&nbsp;Energy<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;(societ\u00e0 di energia e servizi pubblici) e&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transitionlabs.is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Transition Labs<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;(gruppo di lavoro a sostegno della sostenibilit\u00e0, della transizione energetica e dell\u2019ambiente) per sviluppare una&nbsp;<strong>centrale solare orbitale<\/strong>&nbsp;capace di fornire all\u2019Islanda&nbsp;<strong>30 MWh di elettricit\u00e0<\/strong>, sufficienti per alimentare \u2013 a partire dal 2030 \u2013 tra 1.500 e 3.000 abitazioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Entro il 2036 si mira gi\u00e0 a potenziare il sistema<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019\u00e8 di pi\u00f9.&nbsp;<strong>Martin Soltau<\/strong>, co-CEO di&nbsp;<strong>Space Solar<\/strong>, ha reso noto che entro il 2036 l\u2019azienda mira a una versione potenziata del sistema, in grado di fornire GW di elettricit\u00e0.
