Editor-in-Chief, Cybersecurity Italia and Key4Biz

Luigi Garofalo, 42, is a professional journalist who covers technological innovation through economic and geopolitical lenses.

He is specialized in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, the space economy, telecommunications, digital public administration and digital healthcare. He is the lead moderator of CyberSEC and Space & Underwater, the international conferences promoted and organized by Cybersecurity Italia, where he serves as Editor-in-Chief since May 2021.

He has contributed to several major newspapers, including the online editions of l’Espresso and Il Messaggero.

In 2011, together with Giampiero Gramaglia-former Director of ANSA-he co-authored the book “Complici – La relazione pericolosa tra l’Italia e il regime di Gheddafi” (Editori Riuniti).

Garofalo holds a degree in Communication Studies from Sapienza University of Rome, graduating with highest honors (110/110 cum laude).
His favorite “scoops”? “My two children,” he likes to say.
