Aeronautical Engineer, Scientific Advisor to Limes, PMO-PNRR Expert at the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers

Aeronautical Engineer, graduated from La Sapienza University Rome, has over thirty years of professional experience in aerospace and space sector.
He is Scientific Advisor to LIMES, geopolitical magazine, and lecturer at the LIMES school of geopolitics. He is a columnist for Airpress, monthly magazine for aerospace policies and defense, and for the political and economic information site www.formiche.net.
He currently holds the position of Expert in the PNRR Project Management Office at the Department of Digital Transformation of the Italian Government.
In 2023 he has been appointed Technical Expert at the COMINT, Interministerial Committee for Space and Aerospace.
He has been working in Italy, France, The Netherlands and in French Guiana at the Kourou launch base, both in private companies and in space agencies, holding various management positions.
He is co-author of over thirty scientific articles presented at international conferences.
In 2005 he graduated from the 56th IASD course of the Center for Advanced Studies of the Italian Ministry of Defense.
He is contract professor at the Aerospace PhD’s course at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
He is the author of the popular book Lo Spazio Oltre la Terra published by Giunti (2009), and of the textbook Elements of Management of Space Programs published by Springer-Verlag (2011) also translated into English and Chinese.
In 2019 he published the book Geopolitics of space exploration published by Rubbettino, translated into English and published by Springer-Verlag (2021). In 2023 he published Stellar Capitalism, how the new space race changes the Earth, published by Rubbettino.
He is a member of the Academie Francaise de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace of Toulouse, and of the American Association of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
