Digital Sovereignty Lead EMEA, Accenture

Mauro Capo has been serving as Head of Accenture’s OneDefence Initiative for Italy since September 1, 2025. At Accenture since 2012, he brings over 23 years of experience in the Information Technology services sector. In his current role, he is responsible for driving Accenture’s strategic positioning in the field of technology solutions for Defence and National Security, with a specific focus on digitalization, responsible AI, and cyber intelligence.

Capo also holds an EMEA leadership role as Head of Digital Sovereignty Solutions, and throughout his career he has worked with numerous clients in regulated industries, mainly Public Administration and Energy, leading major transformation programs through the secure adoption of cloud technologies and protection of sensitive data.

Since September 2023, he has led Accenture’s Cloud First organization for ICEG (Italy, Central Europe, and Greece) and is a member of the Executive Committee for the same geographic area.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federico II University of Naplesand an MBA from Henley Business School (UK). He currently lives in Rome with his wife and two daughters and is an enthusiastic amateur athlete, passionate about skiing, swimming, and running.
